These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of unwrittentv.com (the “Site”), operated by Unwritten Media LLC (“Unwritten TV”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Site.

Eligibility

The Site is intended for users who are at least 13 years of age. By using the Site, you represent that you are at least 13 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

If you are between 13 and 18 (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction), you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms.

Use of the Site

You may use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms. Our content

All content on the Site, including articles, photographs, graphics, logos, design elements, and code, is owned by Unwritten Media LLC or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may view, share, and link to articles for personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of our content without written permission, use our content for commercial purposes without a license, remove copyright or trademark notices from any content, or republish full articles on other websites without permission. Excerpts with attribution and a link back are permitted under fair use principles.

Your content

If you submit content to the Site (comments, story tips, writing submissions, etc.), you grant Unwritten Media LLC a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, and distribute that content in connection with the Site and our business.

You represent that any content you submit is your original work and does not infringe the rights of any third party.

We reserve the right to remove or edit user-submitted content at our sole discretion, without notice.

Comments and community guidelines

If we enable comments on articles, you agree to comment in good faith and follow our community guidelines: no personal attacks, harassment, or threats; no hate speech, discrimination, or content targeting protected groups; no spam, advertising, or self-promotion; no off-topic posts unrelated to the article; no sharing of personal information about others; no illegal content.

We moderate comments at our discretion. Comments may be removed, edited, or held for review without notice. Repeated violations may result in a permanent ban.

Third-party content and links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites, services, or content not owned or controlled by Unwritten Media LLC. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party sites.

We may also embed third-party content (such as videos, social media posts, or images). The use of such embedded content is governed by the terms of the originating service.

Advertising

The Site displays advertisements served by Google AdSense and other advertising partners. Advertisements are clearly distinguishable from editorial content. Unwritten Media LLC does not endorse the products or services advertised.

Indemnification

DMCA copyright complaints

If you believe content on the Site infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to our designated copyright agent at [email protected]. The notice must include your physical or electronic signature, identification of the copyrighted work allegedly infringed, the URL of the allegedly infringing content on our Site, your contact information (address, phone, email), a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized, and a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

We respond to valid DMCA notices in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms.

You may stop using the Site at any time. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, governing law) will continue to apply.

Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.

Any disputes arising under these Terms or your use of the Site shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will provide more prominent notice.

Your continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

Entire agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Unwritten Media LLC regarding your use of the Site.
